New Business:
The OSOA (Ontario Swimming Officials Association) is looking for a way to have their trained officials get experience. They understand the value of MSO and have allowed MSO one vote at the AGM. They have 3 meetings a year including the AGM. Only pre-requisite to belong to OSOA is you must be a level 4 or 5 official.
Motion: Chris Smith, seconded by Pat Niblett
MSO entertain a bid from OSOA to host the 2001 Provincials in April at Etobicoke.
CARRIED
This does not mean that we will not look at any other clubs interested in hosting the Provincials in 2001.
Swim Ontario is looking at having closer ties with MSO without infringing on what we are already doing. They would like to see a Representative from MSO at the three meetings held per year in Toronto area. Claus was elected to fulfill that role.
Algonquin Aquatic Club: Reminder to swimmer attending the World Master Championships in Munich in July and August to contact Brian Croker, Registrar if you wish to swim under this club. New cards will have to be issued to you, and relays will be made up.
