Mary Brinklow, Vice Chairperson assumed control of the meeting.

Minutes from the last meeting were review and on changes were made.

MOTION: That the minutes from the last meeting be accepted.

Moved: Darlene Brown, seconded by Charlie Lane. CARRIED

Elections:

President: Ralph Chown was nominated by Pat Niblett and seconded by Lesley Mason-Ward. Ralph accepted and nominations were closed.

Ralph was acclaimed for the position of President.

Vice-President: Mary Brinklow was nominated by Darlene Brown and seconded by Lesley Mason-Ward. Mary accepted and the nominations were closed. Mary was acclaimed for the position of Vice-President.

Treasurer: Darlene Brown was nominated by Ann Gunther and seconded by Pat Niblett. Darlene accepted stating that this would be her last year in the position. Nominations were closed, and Darlene was acclaimed for the position of Treasurer.

Secretary: Claus Koch was nominated by Ralph Chown and seconded by Darlene Brown. Claus accepted and nominations were closed.

Claus was acclaimed for the position of Secretary.

Meet Co-ordinator: Charlie Lane was nominated by Ann Gunther and seconded by Mary Brinklow. Charlie accepted and the nominations were closed. Charlie was acclaimed for the position of Meet Co-ordinator.

MSC Representative: Pat Niblett was nominated by Darlene Brown and seconded by Claus Koch. Pat accepted and the nominations were closed. Pat was acclaimed for the position of MSC Rep.

Ralph assumed the position of President.

Bid for 2001 Provincial Championships

Chris updated us on the status of the Provincials bid. There were still a few minor details to iron out, but the important information regarding the bid had been drafted, reviewed, revised and completed.

MOTION: to accept the bid by OSOA to host the 2001 Ontario Masters Swimming Championship. Motioned by Darlene Brown and seconded by Ann Gunther. CARRIED
