SOO Master Polar Bears

The Sault Ste Marie Masters Club hosted a most successful Ontario Masters Swimming Championship in April of this year. This was one year after the tragic death of Dr. Hui Lee at the 2004 Provincial Championship in Toronto. The dedication and hard work of the Polar Bears in the face of this tragedy was a most commendable example for all of us.

Over the last half dozen years a close bond and working relationship has been established between Ontario Masters and the Ontario Swimming Officials Association. This has led to a better understanding of Masters by Ontario Officials and significant support of our Officials from Masters. Personifying this relationship are Sue and Nigel Morris who regularly turn out to officiate at many Masters meets. We thank them and all Ontario Officials for their support.
