Fall Update for Swimmers

Swim Meets

Masters Meets are slowly returning to Ontario, mainly in the Ottawa area. There are 3 on the meet schedule with a couple of time trials under discussion.  MSO and club hosts are planning within current COVID limitations and monitoring any developments that could impact these meets.

Any clubs considering hosting a meet in the GTA or the north are invited to contact MSO.

50th Anniversary Celebrations

It’s been 50 years since Hud Stewart formed the UofT Masters, the first official Masters Swim club in Canada.

Time has passed quickly and our sport has developed because of volunteers who dedicated their time and talents to lifelong adult fitness through swimming. Today, in this anniversary year, COVID-19 reminds us of our sport’s importance to our physical and mental well-being.

The 50th Anniversary logo was designed by Cajsa Holgersson as part of the campaign developed by Laura Rogers. The design celebrates our sport and not any organization or structure.

50th Anniversary key chains are being sent to affiliated clubs for distribution to all registered swimmers and coaches. They are stunningly beautiful!
