NOTE: The December 31st Age up Rule was voted in by FINA at the 1994 World Championships. It went into effect in 1996. Prior to this, swimmers would age up on their birthdate.
USMS applies the December 31st Age up rule to SCM and LCM meets. It applies the Birthdate Age up rule for SCY meets.
MSO applies the Dec 31st Age up rule to all swim meets.
